An independent consultant can work directly under the Supervision Consultant, the Project Managers, the Contractor, the Door Supplier, the Hardware Supplier and even the Client.
DOOR SCHEDULES
Maintaining and updating, designing new door types. Incorporating RFI amendments.
HARDWARE SET SCHEDULE
Maintaining and updating, specifying new set compilations. Incorporating RFI amendments.
DOOR AND HARDWARE SPECIFICATION
Bids are checked against for compliance against specifications.
DOOR & HARDWARE SUBMISSION
Technical and sample Submissions are checked for compliance prior to submission to Consultant
FIRE LIFE SAFETY
Doors & Hardware are checked for compliance to Fire Life Safety Requirements and Local Civil Defense Codes
DOOR ELEVATIONS & SHOP DRAWINGS
Shop Drawings are checked for compliance to specifications and code.
WIRING DIAGRAMS
Wiring Diagrams are created for coordination of Electromechanical Hardware
MASTER KEYING
Master Keying Design is developed and coordinated with Client.
KEY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Key Management Systems are designed and developed with the operator for ease of access throughout the building.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Assist the Contractor or Supervision Consultant in any queries regarding the Door Openings.
SITE WALK-THROUGHS
Inspection of installation of doors and hardware and their compliance to specification and code.
FIRE DOOR INSPECTION
Inspect Fire Rated Doors for proper labeling and compliance to International Labeling requirements and Local Civil Defense Code.
VALUE ENGINEERING
Redesigning the Doors and Hardware to meet new Project required budgets.
DISCREPANCIES & CONTRADICTIONS
Rectifying discrepancies or contradictions with regards to Code, FLS, Acoustics, Access Control and Security.
